New · AI

An AI assistant that knows your context

More than a chatbot: Clam takes your pregnancy week, your baby's age, and your lab history into account — strictly with your permission.

AI lab explanations

What's within the reference range, what deserves attention, and how your markers have changed over time — in warm, human language.

Doctor visit prep

A short summary of your recent labs and ready-made questions — show it to your doctor or retell it in your own words.

Opens knowing who you are

A greeting for this hour and this name, a search field that answers as you type, your week with what's happening to the baby right now, and one thing worth doing today. No feed, no noise, no countdown to a date almost nobody gives birth on.

How I am

A minute just for you

Pick a shell — Clam answers in kind words and offers a practice for exactly this feeling. Your seven days stay on the card, and a whole section keeps the history: no streak to break on the day it was hard to get up.

Trackers

One tap and it's logged

Kicks, contractions, weight, sleep, and feedings. Big buttons, day-by-day history, and no fiddly forms — made for tired hands.

Lab results

From lab report to plain words

A photo of your lab report becomes a list of markers with statuses: what's in range, what deserves attention, and which questions to ask your doctor.

New · AI

Your labs, in human words

AI explains confirmed marker statuses and helps gather questions for your doctor. It runs only with your consent. Clam removes common direct identifiers when possible, but health data and free text can still identify you.

Your data is your data

What's personal stays on your phone

Trackers, journals, your album, and mood entries are stored locally — they never leave your device.

Servers in Europe

Account, profile, lab, consent, AI conversation, and subscription data can be stored on our server in the EU. The privacy policy lists each category and retention rule.

Health data, handled with respect

Lab report scanning runs on our server. External AI starts only with your consent. We remove common direct identifiers when possible, but the processor still receives personal health data and free text.

Everything under your control

Request an export or account deletion in the app. Deletion blocks new changes immediately; active systems, limited backups, and legally required records follow the timelines in the privacy policy.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Is Clam free?

Yes. The pregnancy calendar, trackers, activities, Ask Clam, and the basic lab result breakdown are free — and they will stay that way. The Clam+ subscription will add extra features later, and it will always be optional.

When does the app come out, and where can I download it?

We're preparing the Android release — the App Store version is on our roadmap. Links will appear on this page as soon as the app is published — add it to your bookmarks.

Does Clam work offline?

Yes: all the content, trackers, and Ask Clam search work offline. You only need the internet for your account, lab report scanning, and AI features.

How do AI explanations work — is it safe?

AI features turn on only after your explicit consent. Clam removes common direct identifiers before sending a request, but health data and free text can still be personal. Before processing, the app names the configured external processor and shows its region, retention, and zero-data-retention status. Marker statuses come from deterministic rules; AI only explains confirmed data and cannot replace a doctor.

Do AI features cost money?

You can try 1 AI lab explanation each month at no charge. AI chat, doctor visit prep, and higher fair-use limits are part of Clam+. Current limits appear in the app before use. The standard lab breakdown follows the document limits shown in the app.

Can Clam replace a doctor's visit?

No. Clam doesn't diagnose and doesn't prescribe treatment. It explains information in plain language and helps you prepare questions for your doctor — and if anything looks concerning, it plainly advises you to seek help.

What data do you collect?

Account, profile, lab, user-entered health, consent, AI conversation, and subscription data can be stored on our EU server when you use those features. Baby trackers, journals, mood entries, and the album stay on your phone. See the privacy policy for the complete data map.

How do I delete my account and data?

Right in the app: Profile → Settings → My data → Delete account. The request blocks further changes immediately and starts deletion from active systems. Limited backups and records required for security, accounting, or law expire under the privacy policy. See the Delete account guide.
